We’re currently looking for Forklift/Plant Operator to join the Treatment team at Jubilee Sawmill in Mount Gambier, South Australia.

The role:

The position reports to the Treatment Plant Manager. As a member of the Treatment team, you will be responsible for conducting forklift and fixed plant operation in the Treatment Plant area, efficiently and safely.

Starting hourly rate of $28.64211 (Classification MGTIG4). Once trained as an operator, the hourly rate increases to $30.71605 (Classification MGTIG5). 15% shift loading is additional on afternoon shift.

The Treatment area works a rotating day and afternoon roster, 5 x 8 hr per day shifts, Monday – Friday with overtime as required. 

You: 

  • hold a High-Risk Forklift Licence
  • ideally have experience operating fixed plant and machinery
  • have a strong commitment to working safely, with the ability to follow procedures
  • are a reliable and self-motivated employee that can work autonomously or as a team member
  • are able to solve problems, adapt to changing situation and can effectively prioritise demands
  • have insightful decision-making skills and can communicate effectively
  • have intermediate computer skills
