Scholarship Program

Scholarship Forester

Study could be in but not limited to Science (Forestry), Forest Engineering, Environmental Science or Applied Geographical Information Systems, offered as a full or partial academic scholarship. Potential applicants are urged to consider whether the degree they are studying relates to the forestry industry before applying.

While studying, we offer a range of flexible options to support scholarship holders as they navigate studying whilst working for OneFortyOne. A scholarship student may apply while they are part way through their study. Paid vocation work in the Green Triangle Region of Australia and Region of New Zealand may be available.

Graduate Program

Graduates complete a two-year structured program to help start your career on a strong footing as a future leader and/or technical specialist. The Graduate program is open to anyone who has studied one of the degrees listed above. You may enter the program following a scholarship with OneFortyOne, or you may apply without first completing a scholarship.

Australia

OneFortyOne acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their deep connections to land, water, and community. We pay our respect to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all First Nations people today.

In Aotearoa New Zealand, Māori communities have a strong spiritual connection between people and the land – the wellbeing of one sustains the wellbeing of the other. We strive to build meaningful relationships with iwi as tangata whenua (people of the land/region), to be responsible intergenerational kaitiaki (stewards/guardians) of the land where our forests grow.
