Full Time, based at Jubilee Sawmill, Mount Gambier

The OneFortyOne Jubilee Sawmill is one of the largest and most modern sawmills in South Australia, employing local people, and supporting our community.

The role:

Working as part of a fully rotational team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Greenmill machine centers and mobile plant, with training and development opportunities available.

Starting hourly rate of $28.64 (Level 4). Once trained and assessed in required roles, move to hourly rate of $30.72 (Level 5).

15% shift loading is additional on afternoon shift, and 30% shift loading additional past midnight.

Working a 4-day week, 10 hours per day on a rotating 2 shift roster (day/afternoon). Weekend work and overtime may be required.

You:

  • hold a high-risk forklift licence, with forklift experience desirable
  • have a strong commitment to working safely, with the ability to follow procedures
  • are a reliable and punctual employee with effective communication skills
  • are able to solve problems and adapt to changing situations
  • can effectively prioritise your workload and work autonomously, as well as in a team
  • have intermediate computer skills
