Casual project role, expected duration up to 18 months

OneFortyOne is a trans-Tasman business that owns and manages softwood plantation forests and operates sawmills in Australia and New Zealand. We produce and distribute timber and forest products across Australia, New Zealand and internationally, with Jubilee Sawmill being one of the largest and most modern sawmills in South Australia.

OneFortyOne is currently delivering an $88 million dollar Co-Generation Boiler Upgrade Project at Jubilee Sawmill. This project aims at future proofing our boiler operations, providing opportunity to reduce emissions and use renewable wood fibre to generate electricity.

We are seeking an organised, pro-active and detail-oriented Project Site Administrator to provide dedicated administrative and safety support to the project team.

The Role:

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Site Administrator will be responsible for ensuring accurate document control, supporting compliance processes, coordination across project stakeholders and assisting with day-to-day site administration. These responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative and coordination support to the project team to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day operations.
  • Managing document control and information management, ensuring project records, registers and files are accurate, current and accessible.
  • Assisting with site safety and compliance activities, contributing to the coordination of safety documentation, audits, and adherence to company and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting contractor and stakeholder interactions, including onboarding activities, site access requirements and general project administration support.
  • Contributing to the overall delivery of the project by maintaining effective systems, tracking actions and supporting project milestones from commencement through to completion.

You:

  • Have solid administration experience, ideally within a construction project environment, with exposure to project management processes and contractor coordination.
  • Are proficient in document control and data entry processes with an understanding of operational safety principles and requirements.
  • Are an adaptable person with high attention to detail, exceptional accuracy and the ability to interpret information to support project outcomes.
  • Have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence communicating with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Are a proactive and organised person, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, and are able learn new systems quickly.

As this is a site-based role, you will require a White Card or be willing to obtain one, which can be arranged by the company if required.

Our people are key to our success, and we’re passionate about being a great place to work. We are driven to ensure that every person goes Home Safe and Well every day.
