Production at OneFortyOne’s Jubilee Sawmill, located in Mount Gambier, South Australia is likely to resume on Wednesday following a business disruption caused by a fire event.

The fire occurred in one of two transformers located in a neighbouring sub-station.

The incident occurred about 09:30pm on Saturday 28 November and was attended by Mount Gambier Fires Station and the South Australian Country Fire Service.

Paul Hartung, General Manager of the Jubilee Sawmill said “No employees were injured during the event and we have had no damage to assets or products. Clean up will occur this afternoon and work will be completed to connect power back to various areas. The team on site as well as the MFS and CFS did an exceptional and efficient job in attending the fire.”

The sawmill’s day shift will run tomorrow, and the Logyard will be open during daylight hours.
