The Role:

We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic and hands on person to join the Wood Products Maintenance team as a Lubrication Technician. Reporting to the Reliability Technician, your main responsibility will be to safely and efficiently carry out lubrication technician duties across the Jubilee Sawmill Site, such as:

  • System lubrication upkeep and repairs.
  • Routine machinery greasing and maintenance.
  • Health monitoring and improvement of machinery to ensure optimum operation.
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving relevant to machine lubrication and greasing.

Starting hourly rate of $34.35737 (Classification MGTIG6). 15% shift loading is additional on afternoon shift and 30% shift loading is additional on night shift.

Working a 5-day week, 8 hours per day on a 2-shift roster rotating between day and nights. The standard rotation is 2 weeks on day shift (6am-2pm), followed by 2 weeks on night shift (10pm-6am). Reasonable overtime and shift coverage may be required.

You will have:

  • Keen interest in mechanical problem solving and machine maintenance.
  • Ability to prioritise & act with a sense of urgency to achieve plant uptime targets.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills or the ability to develop them.
  • Ability to work effectively independently or in a group.
  • Willingness to continually learn and upskill as required.
