Starting hourly rate of $27.54053 (Classification MGTIG4). 15% shift loading is additional on afternoon shift.

The Role:

Working as a part of a small team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Air-Dry Forklift and associated equipment.

The Air-Dry yard forklift operators are responsible for feeding required timber products into the mill, ensuring the correct products are continuously loaded and using technology to scan products into the online system.

Working a 4-day week, 10 hours per day on a rotating 2 shift roster (day/afternoon). Weekend work and shift coverage may be required.

You:

  • hold a high-risk forklift licence
  • have a strong commitment to working safely, with the ability to follow procedures
  • are a reliable and punctual employee with effective communication skills
  • are able to solve problems and adapt to changing situations
  • can effectively prioritise your workload and work autonomously, as well as in a small team
  • have intermediate computer skills
