OneFortyOne is a trans-Tasman business that owns and manages softwood plantation forests and operates sawmills in Australia and New Zealand. We produce and distribute timber and forest products across Australia, New Zealand and internationally. 

Our products are predominately used in the construction of residential homes; however, we also supply the packaging and agricultural sectors. As the manufacturer, we support major buying groups as well as independent customers across the various sectors.

We’re seeking an experienced, pro-active and people focussed Sales Representative/Account Manager to join the Wood Products Australia Sales Team.

The Role:

Working closely with other Account Managers, the Customer Service team, and the Sales Management team you will ensure that monthly KPI’s are achieved through the development of successful relationships with new and existing accounts in the wood products market space.  The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a portfolio of existing customers, safeguarding and ensuring that OFO remains to be the supplier of choice.
  • Seeking out prospective clients across the structural, treated timber and packaging market segments.
  • Analysing margin and volume opportunities to optimise performance.
  • Presenting ideas and options for new and innovative products, which can be incorporated into the OneFortyOne Wood Product’s product portfolio.
  • Uphold collaborative relationships between the Sales & Marketing, Customer Service team and Production facility.

You: 

  • Have significant sales representative and/or account management experience, with building materials sector knowledge preferred.  
  • Are good at building effective and collaborative workplace relationships, adapting your style as needed.
  • Can uphold workplace safety and maintain a safe working culture. Are organized and flexible, with excellent time management skills and can work autonomously, prioritising workloads accordingly.
  • Can effectively problem solve and communicate with a range of stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • Understand the commercial levers of business, making informed decisions based on experience.
  • Be proficient in using computers and various software including Microsoft Suite (excel).
