Growth State: our plan for prosperity is the State Government’s work plan to promote industry growth by responding to industry needs and leveraging South Australia’s competitive advantages. Key sectors with strong growth prospects have been identified as part of this plan, including the food, wine and agribusiness sector.

Forest and timber industries will play a critical role if South Australia is to meet South Australia’s target of 3% growth per annum. Our submission (in the pdf below) outlines the strengths, opportunities and challenges we see ahead. OneFortyOne is pleased to contribute to this important process and supports the State Government as it seeks to understand how it can promote industry growth.

The Discussion Paper can be found here.

OneFortyOne acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their deep connections to land, water, and community. We pay our respect to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all First Nations people today.

In Aotearoa New Zealand, Māori communities have a strong spiritual connection between people and the land – the wellbeing of one sustains the wellbeing of the other. We strive to build meaningful relationships with iwi as tangata whenua (people of the land/region), to be responsible intergenerational kaitiaki (stewards/guardians) of the land where our forests grow.
