Having already played a significant role as a major partner in the restoration project at Mt Burr Swamp, the launch of the NGT Foundation is the latest initiative to stem from the long-term partnership between OneFortyOne Plantations and Nature Glenelg Trust.

OneFortyOne is proud of OFO’s continuing relationship with the Trust and to play a role in the Foundation’s establishment. “OFO is committed to continuing its investment in the Green Triangle and we believe the NGT Foundation will help to deliver significant and long term sustainable environmental benefits.”

Kick-started today by the first of three initial annual contributions of $20,000 from OneFortyOne Plantations, Nature Glenelg Trust will now seek other contributions to grow the balance of the Foundation over the years ahead. The funding will make sure that the community can be confident that NGT will follow-through on its vision for its reserves.

OneFortyOne acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their deep connections to land, water, and community. We pay our respect to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all First Nations people today.

In Aotearoa New Zealand, Māori communities have a strong spiritual connection between people and the land – the wellbeing of one sustains the wellbeing of the other. We strive to build meaningful relationships with iwi as tangata whenua (people of the land/region), to be responsible intergenerational kaitiaki (stewards/guardians) of the land where our forests grow.
