Ghost Mushrooms now on display in our pine forests

As the proud land manager of the SA Government’s Green Triangle forest estate, we are pleased to be part of a unique collaboration with ForestrySA, Tourism Mount Gambier and the Lady Nelson Visitor and Discovery Centre.

A unique glow-in-the dark mushroom is now on display to the public for the very first time in its natural forest environment.

Every year during late autumn – early winter, the beautiful Ghost Mushroom appears in our Mount Gambier pine forests, glowing with a soft eerie green light during the dark of night.

“Ghost Mushroom Lane” is a 2.3km self-drive trail on our estate between Mount Gambier and Glencoe, where visitors can see the mushroom after dark.
