Linda Sewell is the Chief Executive Officer of OneFortyOne. Before joining OneFortyOne, Linda was the Chief Executive Officer of Hancock Victorian Plantations (HVP) where she had responsibility for the leadership of thecompany’s softwood and hardwood plantation estate in regional Victoria. Prior to that, Linda worked for Carter Holt Harvey for 11 years, nine of which were in New Zealand. Linda was Chief Executive Officer of CHH’s laminated veneer lumber business with Trans-Tasman operations and global sales offices.
Born in Taumaranui in Central North Island, New Zealand, Linda moved to Auckland when she was six years-old and lived there until she left to live in Melbourne in 2004. Linda has a BSc (Botany) and BCom (Accounting & Finance) from Auckland University.
Linda, a leader in the industry is Chair of the Green Triangle Forest Industries Hub. She spent over six years on the board of AFPA, the national industry association representing forest resources, processing, pulp and paper. Linda held the position of Chair of AFPA for over 4 years.
Linda is a yoga enthusiast, runner and meditation practitioner. She really enjoys spending her mornings walking with her son and Husky.
